Due to the size of the school, the parents of Kilchrenan Primary decided that all parents and carers would be considered members of the Parent Council, along with the head teacher.

However, in June 2013, the parents decided to disband the Council as a result of difficulties in finding numbers, dates, times and location for meetings. They asked for a new group to be set up, run by the school, with more involvement from the many in the community who have expressed desire to support. This is being done.
Parents not only provide pupils, but also experience, help, advice and skills that we are keen to draw upon.

We are most happy invite you to see, and join in, the work of the class. There are time when you may wish o discuss your child's progress or experiences with us, outwith the usual "parent's meetings"
